FINALLY …
here are the rest of our shots from the trip to SF.
It was such an eventful and diverse one. Looking back it’s hard to believe it all happened in a week.

The weekend we arrived the gay pride weekend was in full effect. We watched part of the parade Sunday. I have to say it was thoroughly entertaining.

Sunday night we went to the Independent to see “the world’s leading appliance rock band”, those crazy Norwegians, Hurra Torpedo and The Dead Hensons. HT thrashed a Prince cover – “When Stoves Cry” – along with covers of “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and a Pixies song.

We spent the middle of the week in and around Yosemite. Majestic doesn’t even describe. Wish I would’ve taken a lot more photos.
We camped at Mono Lake (just outside the park) the first night and Ten Lakes the next.
We spent our last day there being lazy at Stern Grove and jukin to the sounds of Rebirth. Made me SO homesick! Man, I miss old New Orleans. As much as I’m skeptical, I really hope it gets restored to its former self.

When a band calls out “All I wanna do is zooma zoom zoom zoom in a boom boom” The correct response is “Just shake your rump!”
Don’t just repeat what the band is saying! I was so disappointed … you bes’ be up on your Wreckx-N-Effect!

From there we took a drive down the coast for a bit and watched some folks hang gliding. That looked like a helluva lot of fun.
