I recently had the pleasure to meet and photograph Lt. Ehren Watada a couple weeks back when he was in Eugene speaking at the Peace rally to protest the 4th anniversary of the war. The Weekly was scheduled to do a Q&A with him but he canceled last minute per his lawyers’ advice. As you can imagine, the army is fishing for anything to use against him. EW ended up running this instead … basically highlights of his speech and a summary of his situation.
